Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crescent roll or croissant dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2–3 tablespoons flour (for dusting and rolling)

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Press the seams to smooth out any perforations so it forms solid sheets.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon until evenly combined.
  4. Brush one layer of dough lightly with melted butter, then sprinkle with about half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Place the second sheet of dough on top. Gently press down to seal.
  6. Cut the stacked dough into long strips, then roll each strip up tightly, just like a cinnamon roll.
  7. Brush each rolled strip with the remaining melted butter, then sprinkle with the leftover cinnamon-sugar mix.
  8. Arrange each roll in a greased muffin tin (a light cooking spray works perfectly).
  9. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cruffins are golden brown and smell irresistible.
  10. Allow them to cool for a few minutes before enjoying warm.
  11. Pro tip: These are fantastic served fresh out of the oven, but you can also warm them up later—they still taste amazing!
