Ingredients

For the sheet pan:

  • 1 pork kielbasa, cut into slices
  • 1 sweet potato, diced
  • 4 small potatoes, chopped (any variety works)
  • 2 broccoli crowns, cut into florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1–2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • A small pinch of black pepper

For the honey garlic sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1½ tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon or stone-ground mustard
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano

Directions

  1. Heat the oven
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) so it’s fully preheated before baking.
  2. Prepare the sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together the butter, olive oil, honey, brown sugar, garlic, salt, mustard, basil, and oregano until smooth. Scoop out about 1–2 tablespoons and keep it aside for finishing later.
  3. Start with the potatoes
Lightly coat a large sheet pan with olive oil. Spread the sweet potatoes and regular potatoes across the pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then toss so everything is evenly coated.
  4. Add the kielbasa
Arrange the sliced sausage on the pan with the potatoes. Brush the pieces generously with the honey garlic sauce (not the reserved portion). Bake for about 20 minutes.
  5. Prep the broccoli
While that cooks, toss the broccoli with a little olive oil plus a pinch of salt and pepper.
  6. Finish roasting
After the first 20 minutes, add the broccoli to the sheet pan. Return it to the oven and roast another 5–10 minutes, until the broccoli turns bright green and tender.
  7. Serve
Take the pan out of the oven and drizzle or brush the reserved sauce over the kielbasa and vegetables. Serve warm and enjoy.
