Ingredients

Potstickers & Sauce:

  • 30 Frozen Potstickers (large bag)
  • 1 Packet Sweet-Hot Sauce (usually included with potstickers)
  • 3 tsp Hot Chili Sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 4 tbsp Cashews
  • 3 tsp Sesame Seeds
  • 4 tbsp Sesame Oil (or any light cooking oil)

Vegetables (pick your favorites):

  • 2 Large Onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp Grated Ginger (fresh or powdered)
  • 1 tsp Grated Garlic (fresh or powdered)
  • 4 Medium Red Bell Peppers, thinly sliced
  • 2 Small Green Bell Peppers, thinly sliced
  • 2 Large Carrots, thinly sliced
  • 3 Cups Sliced Cabbage
  • 2 Cups Sliced Mushrooms
  • 4 Stalks Green Onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook the Potstickers: Follow the instructions on your potsticker package. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Place the frozen potstickers in the pan, leaving space between each one. Cook for 2 minutes, then add a splash of water and cover. Let them steam for 8–10 minutes until tender. Once soft, drizzle 2 tsp of the dipping sauce and toss for 2 minutes. Remove from the pan and place on a tray—these are ready to serve as an appetizer if you like.
  2. Prepare the Stir Fry: In the same pan, heat sesame oil. Add onions, ginger, and garlic; stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant. Toss in the remaining veggies, cashews, and sesame seeds. Stir-fry for another minute on high heat. Add the cooked potstickers and pour in the sweet-hot sauce. Stir everything together for 1 more minute, then remove from heat. Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with green onions and extra sesame seeds. Serve immediately, piping hot.
